Civility by Elemental Affects

Civility is a thoughtful blend of Merino wool (for soft, loft and crimp) and Mulberry silk. It has just enough silk to lend this luxurious yarn extra strength, a bit of drape and a subtle sheen that can only be achieved with certain types of silk.

This yarn was also prepared with a worsted style spinning technique that starts with combing the wool to remove short bits and aligning all the fibers in the same direction. The fiber length combined with the 3 plies used in all weights of this yarn create a strong, luxurious yarn with a definite resistance to the rampant pilling of other luxury blends.
