Course Description:
Ever wanted to try weaving but weren’t sure where to start? This four-week introductory course will guide you through the basics of weaving on a rigid heddle loom, from setting up your loom to finishing your first woven piece. Choose from one of four projects: a scarf, table runner, set of placemats, or tea towels. You'll leave with a beautiful handmade project and a new fiber skill!
Class Duration:
4 weeks, 3 hours per session January 11, 18, 25 & February 1
Course Fee:
$160 per person paid prior to class in the form of cash or check to Lisa Elliott $10 equipment use fee (waived if bringing your own rigid heddle loom)

| Instructor Bio: | We’re excited to welcome Lisa Elliott, an accomplished artist and weaver, to our teaching team! Lisa comes from a family of artists and brings a rich creative background to her classes. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and pursued further study in weaving at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. With years of experience working on her four-harness loom, Lisa is currently crafting beautiful rag rugs while also exploring the creative possibilities of the simple rigid heddle loom.
