Welty by Westknits

This top down semi-circular shawl grows with yarn over increases. Textured bands of garter stitch, seed stitch, and stockinette stitch welts decorate the fabric. Choose a small or Large size and knit with one color or adde colorful stripes to the welted sections. A playful picot bind off finishes this flirty shawl.

Needles: 40″ US 4 / 3.5mm circular

Gauge: 20 sts and 48 rows = 4″ / 10cm in garter stitch

Pattern Notes: The striped version uses 3 contrasting natural colors used in order from lightest to darkest and then repeated. For a solid version, ignore MC & CC in the instructions. For a striped version, do not break MC strand. Carry MC along the right edge.
