Smooth Move by Westknits
This simple garter stitch shawl is composed of three sections that grow with short rows and increases. A DK weight version features 3 neutral colors for a gradient effect. A smaller fingering weight version uses 6 colors that are striped in each short row section. An I-cord border finishes the shawl with a strong pop of color.
Sizes: Small (Large) The size is determined by the yarn weight. The small size is knit with fingering weight yarn and the large size is knit with DK weight yarn.
Finished Measurements: 92 (106)” / 234 (269)cm wingspan length, 15 (18)” 38 (46)cm wide. Measurements taken after blocking.

Pattern Notes: Instructions are written using yarn for the color blocked DK weight version. There are 3 main sections and an I-cord border. Each short row section for the fingering weight version is striped. If you want to make a more solid fingering weight version then combine yardages for colors A & B for Section 1, colors C & D for Section 2, and color E & F for Section 3.
